Echoes of Corals, Gray Faceted Porcelain Ring With Matte Platinum Accent

$98.00
Sold Out

This ring is hand-sculpted from gray pigmented Limoges porcelain featuring a layered form that recalls both mineral structures and the encrusted surface of a reef. soft wash of matte platinum luster is brushed across the faceted surface, creating a muted metallic finish that contrasts with the porous texture of the coral crown.

The ring is fired three times. After shaping and bisque, it is vitrified at cone 10 (2,350°F / 1,288°C), transforming into a durable, non-porous material. A third firing at cone 018 (1,472°F / 800°C) sets the platinum luster, completing the ring’s distinctive appearance

This piece is part of a small series of sculptural rings inspired by coral ecosystems. You can read more about the collection here—a journal entry about the sea, Elba, and the memory behind these shapes.

  • Each ring is handcrafted and unique, making it essential to find your perfect fit. Use a ring you already wear comfortably or measure your finger with a strip of paper, marking where it overlaps. Measure this length in millimeters and compare it to this size chart:

    Size 6 -51.9mm, Size 7 -54.4mm , Size 7.5 -55.7mm, Size 8 -57mm Size 8.5 -58.3mm, Size 9 -59.5mm, Size 9.5 -60.8mm

For the most accurate measurement, size your finger in the evening and avoid measuring when your hands are cold.

  • All orders are shipped via USPS and will be processed and shipped from the studio within 1 week. Please e-mail if you need anything sooner.

  • NYC locals can skip shipping! Select "Pick Up" at checkout and we'll coordinate a studio meetup.

  • As each ring is a unique piece of wearable art, finding the right size is important. If your ring doesn't fit perfectly, contact me within 7 days of delivery. I'll provide a prepaid shipping label (US only) for its return. Once I receive the unworn ring in its original condition, I'll issue store credit valid for 30 days, allowing you to select another piece from the collection that speaks to you.

  • Your porcelain ring is crafted from dense, high-fire porcelain and it is remarkably strong, but it’s important to avoid impact with hard surfaces.
