Echoes of Corals, Black and Gray Porcelain Ring With Pure Silver Accent
This contemporary ring captures the delicate porous structure of Mediterranean coral formations, creating a quiet reminder of the ecosystems beneath the waves. Inspired by warming seas and fragile ecosystems, it becomes a wearable echo of underwater life—both resilient and endangered.
The piece is hand-sculpted from black and gray pigmented Limoges porcelain, featuring an organically textured crown that echoes coral’s patterns. Pure silver beads sits atop the crown, like bubbles, or the small creatures that take shelter in a reef, to create an organic accent that catches and reflects light against the matte dark surface.
The creation process involves three firing cycles. After initial shaping, the porcelain undergoes vitrification at cone 10 (2,350°F/1,288°C), transforming into a durable, non-porous material. Silver beads are then added and partially melted during a second bisque firing, completing the ring's distinctive appearance.
Non-metal and lightweight, it can be worn by anyone, including those with metal sensitivities.
This piece is part of a small series of sculptural rings inspired by coral ecosystems.
You can read more about the collection here—a journal entry about the sea, Elba, and the memory behind these shapes.

Size 6 -51.9mm, Size 7 -54.4mm , Size 7.5 -55.7mm, Size 8 -57mm Size 8.5 -58.3mm, Size 9 -59.5mm, Size 9.5 -60.8mm
For the most accurate measurement, size your finger in the evening and avoid measuring when your hands are cold.

Your porcelain ring is crafted from dense, high-fire porcelain and it is remarkably strong, but it’s important to avoid impact with hard surfaces.
