Blue Faceted Porcelain Ring

$64.00

This contemporary ring draws from the language of gemstones, translated into the medium of porcelain.

The piece is hand-sculpted from blue pigmented Limoges porcelain, featuring a surface with facets recalling cut stones. A clear glaze enhances the depth of the blue pigment and accentuates the play of light across the angular surfaces.

The creation process involves two firing cycles. The porcelain undergoes final vitrification at cone 10 (2,350°F/1,288°C), transforming into a durable, non-porous material while the clear glaze creates a luminous finish that complements the faceted design.

Non-metal and lightweight, it can be worn by anyone, including those with metal sensitivities.

This ring represents the intersection of lapidary aesthetics and porcelain craftsmanship, resulting in a unique piece of wearable art.

  • Each ring is handcrafted and unique, making it essential to find your perfect fit.

Use a ring you already wear comfortably or measure your finger with a strip of paper, marking where it overlaps. Measure this length in millimeters and compare it to this size chart:

    Size 6 -51.9mm; Size 7 -54.4mm; Size 7.5 -55.7mm; Size 8 -57mm; Size 8.5 -58.3mm; Size 9 -59.5mm; Size 9.5 -60.8mm.

For the most accurate measurement, size your finger in the evening and avoid measuring when your hands are cold.

  • Porcelain is strong but not unbreakable.

I’ve written a few notes about how to handle and store your porcelain ring here.

In general: keep it separate from hard objects, and avoid dropping it.

  • All orders are shipped via USPS and will be processed and shipped from the studio within 1 week. Please e-mail if you need anything sooner.

I currently ship only to the U.S.. If you want something sent internationally, please reach out via email and we can get a custom quote.

You will receive tracking information once your order has shipped.

I take great care in packaging every piece to ensure a safe and secure journey. However, please note that I have no control over the package once it leaves my studio.

  • NYC locals can skip shipping! Select "Pick Up" at checkout and we'll coordinate a studio meetup.

  • As each ring is a unique piece of wearable art, finding the right size is important.

If your ring doesn't fit perfectly, contact me within 7 days of delivery. I'll provide a prepaid shipping label (US only) for its return. Once I receive the unworn ring in its original condition, I'll issue store credit valid for 30 days, allowing you to select another piece from the collection that speaks to you.
