White Porcelain Ring with Gold Lustred Crater

$98.00
Sold Out

This contemporary ring reimagines the traditional pavé setting, exploring the concept of absence where a stone would typically rest.

The piece is hand-sculpted from white Limoges porcelain, featuring soft curves that lead to a perfectly round hollow on its crown. Where a precious stone might traditionally sit, this ring presents a deliberate void, its interior enhanced with gold luster that creates an interplay between presence and absence, light and shadow.

The creation process involves three firing cycles. The initial bisque firing is followed by porcelain vitrification at cone 10 (2,350°F/1,288°C), transforming into a durable, non-porous material. The gold luster is carefully applied to the crater's interior and fired at cone 018 (1,517°F/825°C), completing the ring's distinctive appearance.

  • Each ring is handcrafted and unique, making it essential to find your perfect fit. Use a ring you already wear comfortably or measure your finger with a strip of paper, marking where it overlaps. Measure this length in millimeters and compare it to this size chart:

    Size 6 -51.9mm, Size 7 -54.4mm , Size 7.5 -55.7mm, Size 7 ¾ -56.3mm, Size 8 -57mm Size 8.5 -58.3mm, Size 9 -59.5mm, Size 9.5 -60.8mm

For the most accurate measurement, size your finger in the evening and avoid measuring when your hands are cold.

  • All orders are shipped via USPS and will be processed and shipped from the studio within 1 week. Please e-mail if you need anything sooner.

I currently ship only to the U.S. and Canada. If you want something sent internationally, please reach out via email and we can get a custom quote.

You will receive tracking information once your order has shipped.

I take great care in packaging every piece to ensure a safe and secure journey. However, please note that I have no control over the package once it leaves my studio.

  • NYC locals can skip shipping! Select "Pick Up" at checkout and we'll coordinate a studio meetup.

  • As each ring is a unique piece of wearable art, finding the right size is important. If your ring doesn't fit perfectly, contact me within 7 days of delivery. I'll provide a prepaid shipping label (US only) for its return. Once I receive the unworn ring in its original condition, I'll issue store credit valid for 30 days, allowing you to select another piece from the collection that speaks to you.

  • Your porcelain ring is crafted to be both beautiful and durable, but a few simple practices will help preserve its unique character:

Remove your ring before swimming or applying lotions. When needed, clean gently with mild soap and warm water, drying thoroughly with a soft cloth. Store separately from other jewelry to maintain its pristine condition. While porcelain is remarkably strong, avoid impact with hard surfaces.

For pieces featuring precious metal elements, such as gold luster or silver, take extra care to prevent scratching of these delicate surfaces.
