Everyday Use
Whether you’re pouring milk or cream, warming up gravy or sauces, drizzling vinaigrettes, or even watering your plants in a playful way, these pitchers bring versatility and charm to your kitchen and dining table. The porcelain clay, adorned with a constellation of colorful speckles, catches light in unexpected ways, creating a living presence that shifts subtly between moments of use and moments of rest.
Design
Each pitcher features an ergonomic handle shaped to feel natural in your hand—whether you’re right or left-handed—and they pour effortlessly even when full. The names themselves—Uccellino (“little bird”) and Farfalla (“butterfly”)—are Italian, chosen for their light, graceful spirit. Their balanced weight and organic form make them comfortable to use every day, blending Italian influences with the creative energy of East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The Making
Each artisan ceramic pitcher is wheel-thrown with intention and shaped by instinct in my Brooklyn studio. The confetti glaze, created here, brings playful speckles to life—adding color and movement across the ceramic surface. Handles are attached while the clay is still soft, shaped by hand to create that perfect balance between form and function. Fired to stoneware strength and finished with food-safe glazes, these pieces are microwave safe and dishwasher friendly for easy, modern living.
The Story
I originally made these ceramic milk pitchers to warm my husband’s morning milk in the microwave—a simple, loving purpose. Over time, these handmade vessels have found their way into so many other daily rituals: vases for single stems, pourers for homemade salad dressing, or watering cans for small herb gardens. Each piece writes its own story in someone’s home.
